3.00 Global Café:  Care and Education: moving forward
Facilitator: Anthony Semann
(afternoon tea served during session)

There remains a historic separation, some of which is real and some perceived within the care and education sectors.  Over the past two days you have listened to conference presenters discuss a range of ideas about integrated service delivery for early childhood services.  Current evidence shows us that integrated education and care improves outcomes for children. You have also heard about practical models for working towards quality and collaboration in care and education.

In this session, join other delegates to share your reflections on three questions that focus on moving the sector forward toward closing the gap in early childhood care and education. This small group conversation will be facilitated and documented.  This is your chance to have your voice heard, and will have you leaving the conference engaged, challenged and wanting more.
